Keep a look out for any mail you receive where the 50c postage stamp has not been stamped by Australia Post. You can cut the stamp out from the envelope and soak it in water for an hour and the stamp will peel off. Then you can use the stamp by glueing it on the envelope the next time you send snail mail. (Be warned that this is indirectly stealing from Australia Post)
2 cents of free petrol
Next time your filling up petrol, remember that 0.02 cents will round down to the nearest 5 cents so you can get an extra 2 cents of petrol. So say you put in $60.02 petrol, then you technically should get 2 cents of petrol free as you should be charged $60.00 Now if petrol is $1.50 a litre, you get 13.3mls free!
Remember this 2 cent bonus petrol only works with cash only purchases
